France

After a dizzingly 9 hour flight and practically 24 hours of travelling, we finally arrived in France. I still cannot believe that I am here. I'm not just some country bumpkin that has never travelled I've had many opportunites and have travelled well in my 34 years, however this is my first time to EU. I am beside myself, without words. Flying over the Mediterranean made me breathless, it is absolutley without words. Nice is amazing, geourgeous seaside city, more beautiful than I could have ever imgained. We had lunch at the airport restaurant, overlooking the sea. The fare was encroyable!!! Beef tar tar, creme brulee for dessert with equisite espresso, superb!! The drive to and through the Alps was beatiful. Juju's family lives in a perfectly nestled mountain village called Puget Theniers. It is exactly how I pictured, simple cafe's, open air markets, with fresh produce, everything you could dream for. Magnificent!!!

Yesterday we went to an 11th century castle for dinner, unreal!! To simply step into history like that, words are leaving me. It was amazing just to be able to touch a piece of history that is older than my own country that I have grown up in. Everything is so ancient yet beautiful, some modern twists, but all in all, everything is a piece of history.

Today we go canyoning in the Alps!!!

Sojourn....
